At Scott Farms, we do business by one simple rule: Give the customer a great product with great service. This rule has allowed us to be recognized as one of the highest quality packer/shippers in the business, both in the US and Europe. We understand that every customer demands something different, and we offer many different options to satisfy their needs.
Quality, however, is only as good as the sweetpotatoes themselves. That is why we only put our name on the sweetpotatoes produced on our farm. Not only do we grow commercial sweetpotatoes, we also produce the seed from which they grow! Every facet of sweetpotato production is done right here on our farm. Our customers can be comfortable knowing that when they order sweetpotatoes from us; they are choosing a company that sincerely takes pride in what they do.
Packing methods
Beginning in 2003, we redesigned our conventional packing line to meet the ever-changing trends in the sweetpotato industry. Through mechanical sizing and strict inspection standards, we can provide our retail and foodservice customers with a variety of sizes to meet their needs. We also use a copper ionization treatment on our sweetpotatoes to better shelf life and 
appearance. We pack sweetpotatoes in 40lb cartons, 20lb cartons, 6kg cartons and bulk containers.
We also offer a brushed, hand packed sweetpotato for our customers who require a sweetpotato that makes a great impression. Each sweetpotato is individually inspected and placed neatly in our boxes. Hand packing allows us to provide retail customers with sweetpotatoes that have a beautiful, fresh from the garden appearance.
Varieties
Variety is the spice of life, and nowhere is this more evident than in the sweetpotato industry. Most packer/shippers offer one or two varieties. At Scott Farms, however, we offer 6 different varieties for our customers, each on with its own unique appearance and taste. Whether it's orange flesh, white flesh, red skin, white skin or Oriental, you can find anything you need from Scott Farms.
